Privacy policy
Effective 5 October 2026. Crooked Lane is made by LARK Enterprises LLC.
The short version
Crooked Lane does not collect personal information and does not send anything about you or your play to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts and no sign-in.
What stays on your iPhone
- Your game. Your family, buildings and current life are saved in a file on your device so you can carry on where you left off.
- A play log. The game keeps a simple log of game events, such as a life starting or ending, on your device to help us improve the game in future versions. It contains no name, contact details or device identifiers, and it is not sent anywhere.
Deleting the app deletes both.
Screen recordings you choose to make
At the end of a life you can choose to record a short clip of your skyline. This uses Apple's ReplayKit. iOS asks your permission first, the clip stays on your device, and it is only shared if you choose to share it yourself.
Advertising, purchases and tracking
This version shows no ads, sells nothing and does not track you across apps or websites. If a future version adds ads, purchases or analytics, we will update this policy before that version is released, and the App Store listing will say so.
Children
Crooked Lane is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone.
